This project combines my interest in nature with some experimentation with technology. I used the Scaniverse app to create 3D scans of tree stumps around the Boston area, then downloaded those scans as flat images and collaged sections of them together to create patterns. I really enjoyed this process because it let me explore the textures and details of the tree stumps in a way you wouldn't normally see.
